Child Safety Standards

These standards apply to Blip, the private feed for small friend groups published on Google Play and the App Store by Jayden Software LLC. They set out our zero-tolerance position on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and how we enforce it.

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Blip strictly prohibits any content or behaviour that sexualizes, abuses, exploits, or endangers children. This includes, without limitation:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including real, altered, or generated imagery, video, audio, or text.
• Grooming: contacting or befriending a child to facilitate sexual contact or to obtain sexual material.
• Sextortion: threatening or blackmailing a child using real or alleged access to intimate images.
• Sexualization of a minor, including depicting, encouraging, or promoting sexual abuse or exploitation of children, or content presenting children as objects of sexual interest.
• Trafficking of a child or advertising a child for commercial sexual exploitation.

This prohibition applies everywhere on Blip: posts, comments, photos, videos, links, polls, group names, profiles, and private groups alike. Violating it results in immediate content removal and account termination.

How we enforce these standards

• In-app reporting. Any post can be reported directly in the app, and reports are reviewed by our moderators.
• Removal and termination. When we become aware of CSAE, we remove the content and terminate the responsible account.
• Reporting to authorities. When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority, and we cooperate with law enforcement investigations as required.
• Age requirement. Blip is not directed to children: you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use it, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Compliance with child safety laws

Jayden Software LLC complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the regions where Blip is available, including mandatory reporting obligations for CSAM.

Our designated point of contact for child safety issues is the Blip safety team at Jayden Software LLC. If you believe a child is at risk on Blip, or want to notify us about CSAE concerns, contact us at [email protected]. Safety reports are prioritised. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
