Blip blıp

Blip brand

Blip is a private feed for small friend groups. No followers, no algorithm. Just a calm place to share moments with the people you actually know. The brand works the same way: quiet, warm, and content-first. This page collects everything you need to represent Blip correctly.

Writing about Blip or featuring it somewhere? Use the assets and rules below as-is.

The Blip logo is a single lowercase wordmark, blıp, set in our custom black-weight face, with the dot of the ı floated above as a circle in brand blue. The floating dot is the brand mark: a small blip of color in an otherwise quiet mark. In writing, the name is simply Blip (capital B); lowercase belongs to the wordmark only.

Ink on light backgrounds, white on dark backgrounds. Those are the only two colorways. Keep clear space around the mark of at least the dot's diameter, and don't render it smaller than 48 px wide.

Do

  • Use the provided files exactly as delivered.
  • Place the mark on calm, high-contrast backgrounds.
  • Keep the dot in brand blue in all public material.

Don’t

  • Retype the wordmark in another font, or restyle its letterforms.
  • Stretch, rotate, outline, or add shadows and effects.
  • Recolor the letters, or place the mark over busy imagery.

One exception on the dot: inside the app, each group picks an accent color and the dot takes it on, so the wordmark echoes the group you’re in. That behaviour is the product’s, not yours; everywhere outside the app the dot stays brand blue.

Color

Blip’s interface is light, quiet, and content-first: photos and moments provide the color, and the chrome stays out of the way. Brand blue is the default accent, not a fixed brand color: it’s the color the dot wears until a group chooses its own.

Core

Group accents

The eight accent presets a group can choose from. Any of them may appear as “Blip’s color” in a screenshot. That’s by design.

Semantic

Typography

Three layers, in order of how often you’ll meet them:

Share your life with the people who matter.

Weights run regular 400 through bold 700; headlines sit at 700–800 with slightly tightened letter-spacing. Body text is never lighter than regular.

Voice & tone

Blip talks like a friend, not a platform. The product is a private feed for a handful of people who already know each other, and the writing should feel the same size.

Sounds like Blip

  • “Your group has a new moment.”
  • “Share your life with the people who matter.”
  • “A calm place for the people you actually know.”

Doesn’t

  • “🔥 Don’t miss out on the hottest updates!”
  • “Grow your audience with Blip.”
  • “Engage with your community like never before!”

Tagline

The one-liner is “A private feed for small friend groups.” Use it verbatim when a description is needed. The longer hero line is “Share your life with the people who matter.”
